This editorial introduces the second part of the theme issue on Digitizing Valuation. It explores how digitization is not simply a process of turning existing valuation instruments and practices into code, but rather can have unique implications for how social order is established, challenged, and maintained. The contributions in this issue examine the lived experiences of digitized valuation across different domains.
